Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) is a professional, co-ed business fraternity dedicated to students pursuing careers in Risk Management, Insurance, and Actuarial Science. As the USF Delta Beta Chapter, we serve as a platform for students to develop professionally, connect with industry leaders, and gain meaningful exposure to the field beyond the classroom.
Our chapter is led by driven, motivated students who are committed to creating an environment where members feel supported, challenged, and prepared to succeed.

The USF Delta Beta Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma was launched in Spring 2023 with a clear vision: to create a strong, student-led organization focused on professional growth, opportunity, and industry engagement. In a short period of time, our chapter has experienced rapid growth and has become the fastest-growing professional organization at the University of South Florida.
Our commitment to excellence has been recognized at the national level through the Bowers Award, placing our chapter among the top Gamma Iota Sigma chapters nationwide. This achievement reflects the dedication of our members, the strength of our leadership, and our shared commitment to providing a high-quality experience for every student involved.
